The founding sport for the Vikings club started back in 2010 and is still the bedrock of todays activities. Originally starting out as a small group of Scandinavians playing weekly amongst themselves, the football section of the club has grown over the years to reflect the diverse range of visitors to the city, as well as those that call Hua Hin home. Today our members span over 20+ nationalities as we continue welcome a diverse range of skills, ages and abilities from both amateur beginners right through to self-proclaimed ex pros.
The Vikings play regular 7 a side friendly training matches twice a week at their home stomping ground – Football Station on soi 94. Unless otherwise posted on the social media accounts the games are every Monday and Friday at 16:30 – 18:00. We participate in the occasional tournament (both as hosts in Hua Hin and as visitors across Thailand too) and friendly games from time to time. We also participate in 11 a side games on full size grass pitches too. The games are played in a competitive but friendly spirit, and we pride ourselves on playing fair, having fun, and enjoying a beer or two pitch side after the game.
