The Champions Cup 2024 will return on June 1st this year. This invitational tournament takes place over one day with only 12 teams and around 120 players expected to participate. Last year teams from across the county travelled to Hua Hin and in a dramatic final Swiss Team, Pattaya took home the trophy. We are lucky enough to have some of the best grass pitches in Thailand right on our doorstep so the Champions Cup in 2024 will take place at Arena Hua Hin (formally True Arena), where we’ll be utilising both of their FIFA regulation 7-a-side pitches. Let’s see once and for all who the best 7s team in Thailand really is?!
Hua Hin is around a 2 hour drive south of Bangkok and has some great transportation routes for traveling expat clubs. Located just 10 minutes from the tournaments location are the international hotels, bars, shops and beaches of Hua Hin town. June 1st is the start of a 3-day national holiday so why not make a long weekend with family and friends? Catering will be provided at the pitch by Prime Steakhouse – Hua Hin’s best Steakhouse! All players will receive a lunch from Prime Steakhouse included in their fee.
Entry to the tournament is open to all local and national expat clubs/teams in Thailand. If you would like to get a team together, please submit a registration. We look forward to welcoming you on the day!
The Viking club organise and host a variety of tournaments throughout the year for football as well as our other disciplines. Our flagship event, the Hua Hin World Cup has grown in popularity over the years with more and more teams lining up to have their shot at the title.
