The Hua Hin 7’s Invitational takes place in late September of 2023 for its inaugural year. Aiming to attract high calibre international travelling teams, the Invitational will be played over 2 days in a knockout style tournament. Teams are set to participate in 2 groups, with excess of 190 players from all over the world expected to compete during the weekend. All matches will take place at True Arena Hua Hin, where we’ll be utilising both of their FIFA regulation 7-a-side grass pitches for the duration of the tournament. Who will be crowned the kings of the Asia Pacific?!
Taking place in the coastal town of Hua Hin, Thailand, the tournament offers more than just exciting and competitive football. Hua Hin town is located around a 2 hour drive from Bangkok and boasts exclusive 5 start hotels, prestine beaches and excellent bars, restaurants and nightlife, plus some of the best ranked Golf courses in the world. Tournament participants can also benefit from a range of leisure activities, water parks and days out to any one of Hua Hin’s many attractions.
With all that Hua Hin has to offer, plus the opportunity to play against some of the best 7’s teams in Asia, the Invitational 2023 is set to be a great tournament and one that is sure to be a firm favourite on the calendar for years to come. We look forward to hosting you on the day.
The Viking club organise and host a variety of tournaments throughout the year for football as well as our other disciplines. Our flagship event, the Hua Hin World Cup has grown in popularity over the years with more and more teams lining up to have their shot at the title. The Invitational 2023 will be played at the famous True Arena in Hua Hin. This impressive multi-sport facility hosts both recreational and completive sporting events as well as training facilities used by some of the worlds most prestigious sports teams. A 4 storey clubhouse, all day restaurant and rooftop pool can also be enjoyed by guests.
The True Arena boasts 2 FIFA regulation sized grass pitches which are intended for competitive 7 a side football. Viking club has secured both pitches again this year for the entire duration of the tournament. As well as the football itself, we’ll have a whole host of other activities, refreshments and live music in the Viking Club hospitality area.
