The Hua Hin 7s Invitational takes place on September 28th -29th. New for this year is a Female Invitational which will run alongside the Men’s competition. Last year, the Hua Hin Invitational seen 2 days of action-packed games with Royal Oranje from Bangladesh taking home the crown in a penalty shootout with Morgan’s Guangzhou.
The Invitational in 2024 will be played over 2 days in a knockout-style tournament. Teams are set to participate in 2 groups, with excess of 190 players from all over the world expected to compete during the weekend. All matches will take place at Arena Hua Hin (formally True Arena), where we’ll be utilising both of their FIFA regulation 7-a-side grass pitches for the duration of the tournament.
Taking place in the coastal town of Hua Hin, Thailand, the tournament offers more than just exciting and competitive football. Hua Hin town is located around a 2-hour drive from Bangkok and boasts exclusive 5-star hotels, pristine beaches excellent bars, restaurants, and nightlife, plus some of the best-ranked Golf courses in the world.
Tournament participants can also benefit from a range of leisure activities, water parks and days out to any one of Hua Hin’s many attractions. With all that Hua Hin has to offer, plus the opportunity to play against some of the best teams in Asia, the Invitational 2024 is set to be a great tournament and one that is sure to be a firm favourite on the calendar for years to come. The Viking club organise and host a variety of tournaments throughout the year for football as well as our other disciplines. Our flagship event, the Hua Hin World Cup has grown in popularity over the years with more and more teams lining up to have their shot at the title.
